The Jordanian delegation departed for Japan on Sunday to participate in the fifth edition of the Asian Para Games, Nagoya 2026, scheduled to take place from October 18 to 24.اضافة اعلان

The Jordanian delegation includes 13 male and female athletes representing the Kingdom in three sports: athletics, powerlifting and table tennis, accompanied by technical, administrative and medical staff.

Jordan will be represented in powerlifting by Jamil Al-Shibli, Abdulkarim Khattab, Omar Qarada, Mohammad Tarbash, Mohammad Al-Radaydeh, Asma Issa and Tharwat Al-Hajjaj. The team will be supervised by technical director Issa Hilal and coach Ahmad Abu Al-Rub.

In table tennis, Faten Alimat and Ibrahim Sabra will compete under the supervision of coach Raed Al-Sharif.

In athletics, Jordan will be represented by Mohammad Al-Mahdi Musleh, Nabil Muqabaleh, Anas Ananzeh and Abi Asaad. The team will be supervised by coach Mohammad Al-Harasis, with guide Awad Al-Sharafat accompanying the athletes.

Omar Hindawi will head the Jordanian delegation, while Amer Lafi will serve as head of the contingent. The administrative team includes Alaa Asfour and Raghad Rajeh, while the medical staff comprises Dana Al-Fahoum and Mohammad Al-Dabbas.

According to the overall competition schedule issued by the organizing committee, table tennis events are set to begin on Friday, October 16, while athletics and powerlifting competitions will start on Monday, October 19.

The Jordanian delegation aims to continue the series of achievements made by Jordanian para-athletes at previous editions of the Games by delivering strong performances and competing for medals, further strengthening Jordan’s presence at continental sporting events.
