Al Ramtha defender Abdulrahman Al-Daraysah led his team to a valuable 1-0 victory over Al Wehdat in a match played Friday evening at King Abdullah II Stadium in Al-Qweismeh as part of the third round of the Jordan Professional Football League.

Al-Daraysah scored the decisive goal in the 74th minute after rising to meet a corner delivered by teammate Mohammad Khalil and heading the ball into the left side of Al Wehdat goalkeeper Mohammad Al-Amwasi’s goal, securing three valuable points for his team.
The victory lifted Al Ramtha’s tally to seven points, temporarily moving them to the top of the standings. Al Wehdat remained on two points from two draws and one defeat.
The defeat leaves Al Wehdat’s coaching staff, led by head coach Wasim Al-Bazour, facing further questions ahead of the club’s board meeting scheduled for Saturday evening. The meeting is expected to address the team’s situation and its results since the start of the league.
The third round will feature one remaining match on Saturday, with Shabab Al-Ordon facing Al-Hussein Irbid at 7 p.m. at King Abdullah II Stadium in Al-Qweismeh.
