Financial accounts for Victoria Beckham Holdings Ltd showed an operating profit of £7.3 million in 2025, after the business had recorded losses continuously since its launch in 2008.
Victoria Beckham, who serves as the brand's creative director, told the Financial Times that the whole team had worked hard for a long time to reach this moment of profitability and growth. She added that they had been very transparent about the problems the company faced but had since recovered and were now growing at a measured pace, saying her brand was no longer seen merely as a project tied to her fame.
Beauty Drives Growth for Victoria Beckham's Brand
The beauty division has helped boost the company's performance recently, after Victoria Beckham launched her cosmetics line in 2019, which recorded one of its strongest years yet in 2025.
The Foundation Drops product was a key driver of this growth, generating strong demand with a waitlist reaching 25,000 people, which helped double the size of the company's skincare segment.
Meanwhile, the fashion business achieved strong double-digit growth in 2025, with particular momentum in denim and jersey clothing.
Netflix Documentary Reveals Victoria Beckham's Path to Profitability
The financial turnaround coincided with the release of a Netflix documentary about Victoria Beckham, which followed her journey to establish herself as a designer and entrepreneur, separate from her earlier image as a member of the Spice Girls.
The documentary revealed the scale of the financial difficulties the company faced, with losses reaching tens of millions of pounds at one point, forcing her to rely on financial support from her husband David Beckham.
Victoria said in the documentary that her ability to keep going was tied to her husband's belief in her, adding that without his faith in her, she wouldn't have a company today.
In 2017, the company secured a £30 million investment in exchange for selling a 30% stake to NEO Investment Partners, which led an extensive restructuring of the business.
Restructuring Ends Years of Wasteful Spending
The restructuring focused on cutting costs and addressing wasteful spending that Victoria admitted had been "staggering," including shipping furniture long distances between countries, as well as spending around £70,000 a year on office plants, according to the documentary.
David Belhassen, chairman of Victoria Beckham Holdings, said the company now has two complementary growth engines in fashion and beauty, alongside a growing international customer base and a more focused operating model, putting it in a strong position for the next stage.
CEO Sybille Darikari-Lonel described achieving the first operating profit as a "watershed moment" for the brand, noting that the result reflects years of disciplined management and strategic investment.
The profit comes at a time when the luxury goods sector faces tougher conditions, making Victoria Beckham's brand's shift from losses to profitability an important milestone in its business journey.
