Johery Mola's crowning came at the end of a multi-stage competitive journey that culminated in the top six finalists, where the qualifiers competed for the global title before the judging panel finalized the result and announced the new queen, alongside first runner-up Elizabeth Reinés Alaberne of Spain, and second runner-up Tanousia Chithi of Malaysia.
The new queen received the crown from Miss World 2025, Thailand's Opal Suchata, who ended her year on the pageant's throne after being crowned in the previous edition.
Beauty was not the only focus of the competition, as the "Beauty With a Purpose" initiative held a central place in this year's edition, with contestants taking part in 111 humanitarian projects and causes addressing the needs of various communities around the world.
Three contestants represented the Arab world in the competition: Lebanon's Perla Helou, who made the top 10 list for the Asia and Oceania continents in the pageant, Morocco's Chrihane Charki, and Somalia's Fowzia Abdillahi Gurhad.
This year's edition comes as Miss World celebrates 75 years since its founding, with the competition carrying its slogan tied to "beauty with a purpose," honoring the role of contestants in serving their communities alongside their presence on stage.
With this crowning, Johery Mola begins her journey as the new Miss World, succeeding Opal Suchata, titleholder of the 2025 edition.
