Jordan’s total public revenues and grants increased by 17.8% in the اضافة اعلان
first three months of 2021 to amount to JD 1,851.7 million, compared 
to JD 1,571.3 million registered in the same period of 2020. Total 
public expenditures amounted to JD 2,125.8 million in the first three 
months of 2021, compared to JD 2,018.4 million recorded in the same 
period of 2020. Accordingly, budget deficit after grants amounted to 
JD 274.2 million at the end of March 2021, compared to a budget 
deficit of JD 447.1 million recorded at the end of March 2020.

Jordan’s debt excluding debt holding by Social Security Investment 
Fund (SSIF) amounted to JD 26,806.6 million as of March 2021, 
compared to JD 26,499.3 million recorded in December 2020.

Jordan’s income from tourism dropped in the first quarter of 2021 by 
77.6% relative to the same period of 2020 to amount to JD 175.3
