The Chinese state television reported that South Korean President Yoo Jae-myung arrived in Beijing on Sunday to begin a four-day official visit to China.

The broadcast stated that more than 200 South Korean business leaders are accompanying Yoo. The visit is expected to cover topics such as supply chain investment, the digital economy, and cultural exchanges.
Yoo is also expected to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping during the visit, marking their second meeting in just two months—a notably short interval that analysts say reflects China’s strong interest in boosting economic cooperation and tourism.
This is Yoo’s first visit to China since taking office in June. It comes just hours after North Korea launched ballistic missiles and a U.S. attack on Venezuela, heightening global tensions.
South Korea has indicated that peace on the Korean Peninsula will be on the agenda during the visit.
