Pakistani Minister: India May Launch Military Strike Within 24–36 Hours… We Will Respond
Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated on Wednesday that his country possesses credible intelligence suggesting that India plans to carry out a military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours.اضافة اعلان

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Tarar said India would launch the military operation under the pretext of the recent attack in Pahalgam, located in the Kashmir region. He added:

“Any aggression will be met with a decisive response, and India will bear full responsibility for any serious consequences in the region.”

Last week, a deadly armed attack targeting tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir left 26 people dead. India has since claimed that Pakistani elements were involved in the incident—a charge Islamabad has strongly denied, calling instead for an impartial investigation. India’s Ministry of External Affairs has yet to issue a comment.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed to track down and punish the attackers.

The escalation comes amid long-standing tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, both of which claim the Muslim-majority region of Kashmir in full but control parts of it. They have fought multiple wars over the disputed territory.

Earlier, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif told Reuters that an Indian military incursion appeared imminent. Speaking from his office in Islamabad, he confirmed that Pakistan is on high alert, but emphasized that the country would resort to its nuclear arsenal only if its very existence was directly threatened.
