This came during a joint press conference held by Erdogan with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, pointing out that the world breathed a sigh of relief with the conclusion of the Islamabad Agreement between Washington and Tehran, according to Turkish media reports.

The Turkish president affirmed that his country desires an environment where all inhabitants of the region can live in security and peace regardless of their religious beliefs, stressing that Turkey will continue to work with regional countries, especially Pakistan, to establish security and stability.

For his part, the Pakistani prime minister stated that cooperation between Islamabad and Ankara has recently entered a new chapter, while on the regional front, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that dialogue is the only solution to conflicts and for achieving peace.
