AMMAN — On Saturday, the International Committee of the Red Cross in the occupied territories expressed its concern over the continued Israeli aggression against the people of the Gaza Strip, "which is claiming the lives of innocent people, including civilian children and women.", according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

"We express our concern about the current escalation, and if this cycle of violence gets out of control, it will have serious consequences for the civilian population," the committee said in a press statement.

The committee called on "all parties to respect their obligations under international humanitarian law."

The Red Cross was "following the situation closely and keeping in close contact with all parties."
