Several Palestinian citizens were killed and others injured on Wednesday as the Israeli occupation army targeted multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, including the Municipal Police Headquarters in the governorate.

Hospital sources in the Gaza Strip reported that 10 citizens were killed and 15 others injured in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City and the Nuseirat refugee camp.
In detail, medical sources confirmed the killing of at least 6 citizens and the injury of others in an Israeli airstrike targeting the vicinity of the Municipal Park in central Gaza City.
In a statement, the Police Directorate General in Gaza stated: "Occupation aircraft targeted the Municipal Police Headquarters in the Gaza Governorate, resulting in a number of dead and wounded."
The Directorate added that the Israeli occupation committed a new brutal massacre against the officers and personnel of the civil police force in Gaza City.
An Ambulance and Emergency Services source noted that 9 people were killed and others injured in a strike executed by an Israeli drone in central Gaza City.
For its part, the Ministry of Interior in Gaza appealed to "mediators and the international community to take urgent action to stop the dangerous Israeli escalation and the massacres committed against the police force."
The Ministry stated that "the Israeli occupation is working to eliminate the police force in order to spread chaos within Palestinian society."
Sources reported that one person was killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a motorcycle near Camp 2, south of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Earlier this morning, a citizen succumbed to injuries sustained in yesterday's massacre at the Gaza Port beach, bringing the total death toll from that attack to 7.
In the southern Gaza Strip, a citizen was injured by Israeli occupation gunfire in central Khan Younis.
Local sources reported that the Israeli army carried out a large-scale demolition operation east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The same sources noted that Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire northeast of Khan Younis, while areas south and east of the city were targeted by tank shelling, with renewed gunfire reported east of the city.
Israeli naval vessels also fired shells off the coast of Khan Younis.
In Gaza City, eastern areas were subjected to artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli tanks, while artillery fire also targeted the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of the city.
In the Atatra area, west of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, artillery shelling was reported alongside the launching of flare bombs. – (Agencies)
