GAZA — Experts and analysts believe that the Israeli occupation (IOF), which has devastated 80 percent of Gaza, is seeking to redefine its objectives in the upcoming phase. However, Palestinian resistance remains cohesive, continuing to launch rockets from areas claimed by the occupation.اضافة اعلان

Military strategist General Fayez Al-Dwairi anticipates that Israel will shift towards what is known as "surgical operations" in the next phase. This involves limiting ground operations while concentrating aerial strikes on targeting leaders of the Palestinian resistance, Al-Ghad, Al Jazeera reported.

Dwairi states that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu won't achieve military objectives in the Gaza war. Ground operations may pause within 2 to 3 weeks, contingent on the ambiguous U.S. stance, as described by al-Dwairi.

The US Pentagon plans to announce the formation of a maritime protection force named "Guardian of Prosperity" for the Red Sea, amid heightened military operations by the Houthi group.

Dwairi suggests that Israel will reevaluate its priorities, using forces more selectively, reducing escalation and shelling, while also providing safe places for displaced individuals. This shift follows the destruction of 80 percent of Gaza.

Regarding new intelligence, Dwairi notes that Israel cannot pinpoint captive locations due to the dynamic nature of Al-Qassam Brigades, which is distributed according to the battle vision. Despite Israeli claims, Palestinian resistance remains resilient.

Political science expert Dr. Bilal Al-Shobaki asserts that Israel's declared objectives – releasing captives and undermining Hamas’s military capabilities – remain unmet. The conflict extends beyond Gaza, involving rocket launches from areas Israel claims control.

US statements on Israel are linked to internal and external pressures. Al-Shobaki downplays US-Israel disputes, attributing American rhetoric to domestic and international consumption. He highlights that Israeli actions, such as targeting a school with Al Jazeera journalists, demonstrate that Israel does not heed all US statements.
