TEL AVIV — The
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) air force
began a series of raids on Lebanon on Wednesday afternoon, according to Israeli
media.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent in Lebanon reported that an
Israeli air strike targeted the vicinity of the town of Adshit in southern
Lebanon.
Israeli Security Minister Itamar
Ben Gvir considered the
launching of missiles from southern Lebanon by Hezbollah earlier on Wednesday
to be a "war" against his country.
Hezbollah fired multiple rockets targeting Israeli military
bases near the city of Safed on Wednesday killing one and injuring seven.
The Israeli-Lebanese border - since October 8, 2023 - has
witnessed an exchange of fire between the occupation army on the one hand, and
Hezbollah and Palestinian factions on the other hand, which led to the killing
and wounding of a number of people on both sides of the border.
