GAZA – In a speech on Tuesday, Al Qassam Brigades Spokesperson Abu Obeida said resistance fighters had managed to destroy 22 military vehicles with Yasin anti-tank shells in merged fighting with Israeli forces.
He also said Hamas had introduced roadside bombs used from point-blank range against tanks.
“We have killed and wounded a large number of enemy soldiers during the clashes, and the artillery continues to respond in addition to the rockets,” he said.

Abu Obaida also said Al-Qassam naval forces managed to launch attacks against targets off the coast of Gaza using the remote-guided Storm torpedo.
He also denied reports that a hostage was captured by Israel saying the apparent hostage had never been held by Hamas.
“If this event is true, it may have occurred with individual entities, including Gaza residents who have prisoners,” he said.
“We have informed the mediators that we will release a number of foreigners in the coming days in accordance with our desire not to keep them in Gaza.”
