Sadeq wins silver at Taekwondo Grand Prix

AMMAN — National taekwondo player Julyana AlSadeq won a silver medal in the under-67kg weight category during her participation in the first round of the six-star Taekwondo Grand Prix championship held in Rome. اضافة اعلان

The championship awarded the best 32 male and female players for each weight class.

Sadeq achieved four consecutive victories before losing the final to French player Magda Wiet-Hénin — who is ranked fourth globally— by two rounds to one.

This is Sadeq’s third medal in the Grand Prix championship. She previously won two bronze medals in the Moscow Tour in 2018 and the Sofia Tour in 2019.
