Marco Rubio: Donald Trump Open to Meeting Ali Khamenei

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that President Donald Trump prefers reaching an agreement with Iran, though he acknowledged that doing so would be extremely difficult.اضافة اعلان

In an interview with Bloomberg in Munich, Rubio stated that President Trump is open to meeting Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei—not out of agreement with him, but because he believes direct engagement could be the most effective way to resolve disputes.

Rubio added, “I am fully confident that if Khamenei said he wanted to meet President Trump tomorrow, he would meet with him.”
