Speaking during an interview on the program Face to Face, Tafesh said that jealousy and the difficulty of understanding the nature of artistic work can sometimes lead couples to make the decision to end a relationship early in order to preserve affection and mutual respect, rather than continue in a way that could lead to unwanted conflict.

Addressing divorce rumors that circulated on social media before the official announcement at the end of last June, she said that they were merely unfounded rumors at the time. Once the separation actually took place, she announced it openly, noting that artists are generally exposed to constant public scrutiny of their private lives.

She described marriage as one of the most beautiful experiences in life, stressing that she does not regret any of the experiences she has gone through. She said she would be willing to marry again if she found the right person whom she felt was a true partner with whom she could build the rest of her life.

She added that life becomes more beautiful when two partners are compatible and offer each other support and share their daily lives, away from concepts of conflict or competition. At the same time, she acknowledged that single life has its advantages, particularly when it comes to professional and personal freedom.

The actress said the success or failure of a marriage should not be measured by how long it lasts. She also rejected the idea of maintaining unhappy marriages behind closed doors simply because of fear of society's judgment, stressing that people should always choose their own happiness.

At the end of last June, Nesrine Tafesh officially announced her separation from businessman Ahmed Gohar, bringing an end to their marriage of around a year and a half. The announcement came just days after the couple had appeared together during a summer vacation in the Maldives, where they shared several photos with their followers that reflected a romantic atmosphere between them. Tafesh later surprised her audience by announcing their separation.

She posted a brief message on her Instagram Story, saying: "I have officially separated from my husband with full respect and understanding. I ask everyone to respect our privacy." She emphasized that the separation took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect, without revealing further details about the reasons behind the decision.

The announcement came just days after rumors began circulating that the couple's relationship had ended. At the time, however, Tafesh and Gohar indirectly denied the reports by sharing a photo of themselves in a romantic setting, accompanied by Egyptian singer Amr Diab's song Wana Maak. Followers viewed the post as a clear message confirming that their relationship was stable.

Nesrine Tafesh's latest work is the story A Stigma, part of the series Aswad Bahit, which aired during the 2025 Ramadan drama season. The story consisted of five episodes, written by Karim Sorour and directed by Mamdouh Zaki. The cast included Mohamed Lotfy, Hosny Sheta, Madleen Tabar, Ibrahim Al-Samman, Basant Hatem, Sola Omar and a number of young actors.
