Women’s political empowerment workshop concludes

Saturday marked the end of a workshop on the political empowerment of women and their engagement in local and decentralized administration, organized by the Jordanian forum for women in parliament, in cooperation with the parliamentary committee for women and family affairs, and the European Union.اضافة اعلان

During the three-day event, forum president, Mayyada Shraim, said the forum works to back women in parliament and expand their role, in addition to including the workshop’s final recommendations into the agenda of the next Lower House meeting.

Shraim added that the recommendations produced seek to help women reach senior positions, noting the need for cooperation on backing women’s causes.
