AMMAN — The Jordanian Tourist Guides Association, in cooperation with the Emaar Al-Salt Foundation organized a cultural symposium Monday evening on preserving and the city of Salt.اضافة اعلان

The symposium was entitled, "Al-Salt on the World Heritage List ... and future prospects."

During the symposium, the head of the foundation reviewed the workshops, seminars, and lectures that were put together and helped the city obtain a spot the World Heritage List.

Former mayor of Salt, Khaled Al-Khashman, also spoke about the efforts of the municipality.

He reviewed studies and field work that took place in the city to document its heritage.

He also stressed the importance of the role of the tour guides in supporting the efforts of workers in the city of Salt to boost tourism to the city.
