Municipality takes control of bus station

AMMAN — The Greater Mafraq Municipality on Wednesday officially began running buses out of the Mafraq bus station, the head of the municipality’s committee Hasan Al-Jubor, told the Jordan News Agency, Petra.  اضافة اعلان

Jubor said that the complex’s construction was completed in 2018 but it did not go into operation immediately due to technical issues, pointing out that a municipal committee was formed to solve the those issues.

The municipality took control of the complex after all the issues were solved. 

 He added that the complex’s cost amounted to JD4.3 million, indicating that about 276 public buses will be operating 11 main routes and 51 sub-routes in Mafraq. 

The complex was established in accordance with the highest-quality standards and it includes streets, sunshades, water circles, wastewater collection system, and lightning, according to Jubor.
