The ministry said in a statement published by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that 448 buses and 448 tour guides took part in the program so far. According to the statement, the ministry subsidizes 50 percent of the costs of the trips, which are carried out by different tourism operators.

The program aims to promote domestic tourism and encourage citizens to visit dozens of tourist destinations, according to the ministry.

This year, JD6 millions have been allocated for the program to mitigate the losses incurred by the tourism sector and help in its recovery, according to Petra.

Participants can check the destinations included in the program, as well as services, prices, and schedules by downloading the Jannah.jo application on smart phones, the statement said.
