The latest report from the Audit Bureau revealed that the Jordanian Company for Silos and Marketing achieved positive financial results in 2024, recording a net profit of approximately JD 2.4 million, according to its audited budget and financial statements.

In a statement released on Sunday, the company attributed this performance to its strategic role as the secure storage arm for the country’s strategic reserves of grains and essential commodities, working in coordination with the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply to manage and provide these vital materials to the local market.
The company highlighted that the positive results were supported by the diversification of its operational activities, which include grain storage and milling, leasing of refrigerated and dry warehouses, as well as handling and unloading services at Aqaba port. These operations have directly contributed to enhancing the efficiency of the supply chain and ensuring the sustainable availability of essential goods.
Furthermore, the company noted that these activities support national food security and improve operational readiness to face various challenges, in line with its strategic and operational plan focused on enhancing operational efficiency, maximizing asset utilization, and balancing its national role with financial sustainability.
