First Wizz Air flight lands in Kingdom

AMMAN — Wizz Air, a Hungarian low-cost carrier, on Wednesday launched its first flights to Jordan from Bucharest, landing in King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

With a total of eight destinations, Wizz Air launched four lines to and from Amman (Queen Alia International Airport) throughout the year, from Budapest, Hungary; Rome and Milan, Italy; and Vienna, Austria.

Another four lines to and from Aqaba (King Hussein International Airport) will be launched during the winter season only, from Budapest, Hungary; Bucharest, Romania; Vienna, Austria; and Rome, Italy.

A statement by the Jordan Tourism Board said that the Hungarian low-cost carrier is expected to deliver almost 167,000 tourists to the Kingdom, and that flights may increase to about 32 per week.
