Economy Plus is a new premium ride offering that provides customers with more spacious rides in cars that are 2021 models or newer. Economy Plus is Careem’s highest-quality ride in Jordan, catering to customers that want to experience true comfort and convenience.
The soaring temperatures of summer were met with growing demand for Careem Plus, Careem’s subscription program. Careem Plus subscribers in Jordan doubled over summer, and have saved more than JOD 1 million so far this year in the Kingdom. For a monthly fee of JOD 2.99, Careem Plus provides customers in Jordan with access to unlimited free delivery on food orders from a vast array of restaurants. Members also benefit from a 10% credit back on 10 economy rides per month and quicker support from Careem’s top customer care agents.
Careem sponsored a series of exciting summer events and activities throughout the Kingdom. From captivating concerts featuring famous artists like Mohammad Hamai and Noel Kharman, to vibrant festivals like the Amman Coffee Festival and the Stand-up Comedy Festival. Careem sponsored one of the stops in a first-of-its-kind treasure hunt in Amman. Participants had a blast taking on a fun challenge with Careem to uncover crucial clues that led them one step closer to the ultimate treasure.

Amplifying their commitment to community service, Careem colleagues donated blood to local blood banks in celebration of World Blood Donor Day on 14 June 2023. A special highlight was also Careem's day at the SOS Children’s Villages in Jordan, a national non-profit social development organization, where colleagues spent quality time engaging in playful activities, creating memorable moments, and ensuring the children were treated to delicious food and delectable sweets.
Careem launched in Jordan in 2015, commencing operations in Amman before expanding to Irbid and Zarqa. Careem Jordan offers a wide range of services to cater to the diverse needs of its customers including ride-hailing, food delivery, shop delivery, and customer and corporate on-demand delivery service (BOX).
