AMMAN— Capital Bank launched its smart
personal assistant service Tuesday. The robot, dubbed “Pepper”, will be
available at four of the bank’s branches in the first stage of the launch, the
Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The bank will be the first in Jordan to provide this
service, which relies on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.
In a press statement, the bank said it has
contracted Proven Solution, a company that specializes in developing solutions
and services based on AI, robotics, and virtual reality.
In addition, Proven Solution developed Pepper to
improve and enhance customers’ experience using the “best” technologies,
according to Petra.
The robots at the bank’s branches will interact with
customers and deliver a new digital experience as the robots will answer
customers’ questions and participate in bank events in addition to introducing
the bank’s products, services, and campaigns.
