Steitieh said that 2,400 Jordanians got jobs in the Qatari labor market, as part of the grant allocated in the current year, stressing that this step opens new horizons for Jordanians to work in the Qatari market, which is characterized by job security.

Steitieh expressed appreciation for Qatar’s efforts, which attracted Jordanian talents from various fields, including nursing, vehicle maintenance, and services, noting that work is under way in Jordan to study and analyze the required skills and future needs of Qatar, to qualify Jordanians to enable them to enter the Qatari labor market.

Steitieh noted that the platform dedicated to attracting Jordanians to Qatar is an important, and appreciated, initiative by the Qatari emir, and reflects the deep brotherly relations between the two countries.

He also expressed hope that similar agreements, even on wider scale, will continue to be reached, stressing that the Qatari market is very important to Jordan.
