Preliminary data issued by the Central Bank indicate that tourism revenues increased by 4.1% in January 2026, reaching $708.5 million. This compares with a 22.8% increase recorded in the same month last year, when revenues reached $680.5 million. The growth is attributed to a 3.2% rise in the number of tourists.اضافة اعلان

The data show that tourism revenues in January 2026 increased from European nationalities (56.9%), Asian nationalities (11.6%), American nationalities (16.0%), and Arab nationalities (3.0%). Meanwhile, revenues from other nationalities declined by 2.0%, as did revenues from Jordanian expatriates by 3.0%.

The data also indicate a 6.2% increase in outbound tourism spending in January 2026, reaching $196.3 million.
