The number of apartments sold with an area exceeding 150 square meters rose by 9% during the first seven months of this year, reaching 9,188 units compared to 8,466 units during the same period in 2024, according to the monthly report by the Department of Lands and Survey.

Data shows that the total number of apartments sold in the kingdom during the first seven months of this year reached 20,427 units, marking a 4% increase compared to 19,635 units sold in the same period last year.
In July alone, 4,001 apartments were sold compared to 4,122 in the same month of last year, reflecting a 3% decline. However, sales in July rose by 50% compared to June, which recorded 2,338 units sold.
The number of apartments sold under 120 square meters increased by 3% during the first seven months to 6,049 units, compared to 5,890 units in the same period last year.
Sales of apartments between 120 and 150 square meters remained almost stable, with 5,279 units sold compared to 5,283 units during the same period in 2024.
The Cabinet issued a decision on November 12, 2024, exempting apartments larger than 150 square meters from 50% of registration fees, in addition to a previous decision exempting apartments smaller than 150 square meters from 100% of registration fees.
In July, sales of apartments over 150 square meters declined by 3% to 1,776 units compared to 1,832 units in the same month of 2024.
Sales of apartments under 120 square meters increased by 4% to 1,196 units in July compared to 1,151 units in the same month last year.
Sales of apartments between 120 and 150 square meters decreased by 5% in July to 1,086 units compared to 1,139 units sold in the same period of 2024.
