Analytical data released by the Jordan Chamber of Industry revealed that Jordan’s industrial exports have shown a clear expansion in geographic diversification over the past five years, successfully overcoming various challenges and obstacles.

According to the data, the export map expanded to cover a growing number of countries and higher export values, reflecting improved competitiveness and increased ability to access global markets.
The number of countries where Jordan’s exports exceeded JD 100 million annually rose to 13 in 2024, compared to 9 in 2019 and 8 in 2010.
The data also indicated a rapid increase in export diversity, with 28 countries receiving over JD 50 million in Jordanian exports last year, up from 17 countries in 2019.
Furthermore, Jordan’s industrial exports to 54 countries surpassed JD 10 million each in 2024, compared to 35 countries in 2019, while exports to 93 countries exceeded JD 1 million, compared to 72 countries in 2019.
In total, Jordan exported goods to 147 countries in 2024, marking the highest number in the past decade, highlighting a significant reduction in geographic concentration and reinforcing the Kingdom’s presence in multiple international markets.
The data also showed the emergence of non-traditional markets such as Algeria and Qatar among the top importers, while key traditional markets maintained strong positions, including:
United States (over JD 2.2 billion)
Saudi Arabia (JD 1.1 billion)
India (JD 991 million)
Iraq (around JD 905 million)
The Chamber attributed this positive trend to a broader industrial product base, improved quality, greater emphasis on promotion and commercial networking, and ongoing efforts by industry chambers to boost company participation in specialized exhibitions and facilitate access to major markets.
Looking ahead, the Chamber stated its intention to introduce new, high-impact tools to accelerate access to global markets, in line with the ambitious goals of the Economic Modernization Vision, which aims to double national exports.
