Widespread Arab and International Condemnation of Israeli Aggression on Qatar
Arab and international countries and organizations have condemned the Israeli attack targeting the Qatari capital, Doha, on Tuesday afternoon.

The diplomatic advisor to the UAE President, Anwar Gargash, tweeted that “the security of the Gulf states is indivisible, and we stand fully in solidarity with sisterly Qatar.”

Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the attack constitutes a blatant violation of all international laws and norms, posing a serious threat to regional security and stability and directly undermining international peace and security. Oman stated that the Israeli aggression, along with political assassinations and treacherous acts, represents a blatant violation of international law and a flagrant breach of state sovereignty, escalating tensions and threatening regional security while diverting the region from the path of peace. Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed full solidarity with Qatar in all measures it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

Algeria called for restraining Israel and curbing its escalation, which could plunge the region into an endless cycle of instability. Morocco expressed its strong condemnation of the Israeli attack and solidarity with Qatar.

Internationally, Japan condemned the Israeli strike and called for talks on a ceasefire in Gaza. Malaysia stated that the attack violated Qatar’s sovereignty and threatened international peace and security.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said: “I want to see peace in the region and do not want to see escalation.” Austrian Foreign Minister Pia-Astrid Mayr-Reisinger stated that the Israeli attack violates Qatar’s regional sovereignty and undermines all political and diplomatic efforts toward a peaceful future in the region. German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said: “The Israeli attack not only violates Qatar’s territorial sovereignty but also jeopardizes all our efforts to secure the release of hostages. This attack is unacceptable.”

European Commission spokesperson Anwar Al-Anouni said the strike “violates international law and Qatar’s territorial integrity, threatening further escalation of violence in the region.” Iran described the strike as a blatant violation of all international norms. Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attack constituted a flagrant breach of international law and the UN Charter, infringing on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent state, and would lead to further escalation and destabilization in the Middle East.
