Drone Targets Oil Facility in Libya Raising Fears of Refinery Shutdown

The Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) said early Tuesday that a drone crashed near the main oil tank and pipeline network at the oil blending and packaging plant operated by Zawiya Oil Refining Company, marking the third such attack in two days.اضافة اعلان

The NOC said there were no injuries or damage, adding that if the attacks continue, it may be forced to declare force majeure and completely halt operations at the refinery.

The corporation said the incident was the third attack targeting oil facilities in the Zawiya area on Sunday and Monday.
