Zarqa activists demand release of prisoners of conscience

AMMAN — Activists in Zarqa Governorate demanded the immediate release of all ‘prisoners of conscience’, primarily those who were arrested during the past two weeks, according to Jo24.اضافة اعلان

They pointed out that the activists who were recently detained were charged with inciting strife, broadcasting false news, and defaming an official body, while the court refused to bail them and canceled the bail of activist Abdel Tawahya after the Public Prosecutor appealed the judge’s decision and transferred him from Karak prison to Tafila prison.
