What do Jordanians think of the Russia-Ukraine war?

AMMAN — In a recent public opinion survey, 39 percent of Jordanians said that Russia’s war on Ukraine is “completely unjustified”, while 9 percent considered the war to be justified, Khaberni reported.اضافة اعلان

The survey, conducted by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies, an independent think-tank, evaluated the views of citizens of Arab countries, Jordan among them, regarding the war between Russia and Ukraine.

On the Arab level, the survey results showed that 44 percent of respondents considered Russia's declaration of war on Ukraine as unjustified, while 19 percent said it was justified and 37 percent failed to provide an answer or said they did not know.

The majority of those who answered the survey question from Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia, and Jordan expressed the opinion that the war is “completely unjustified”.

Ministry travel advisoryMeanwhile, on Monday, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates issued a travel advisory, calling on Jordanians in Ukraine who are attempting to leave the country and return to the Kingdom via Romania to obtain a visa from Romanian consulates in Ukraine before heading to land crossings, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The ministry urged Jordanian citizens to contact the Jordanian Embassy in Bucharest through the hotline number 0040723611711 for any queries.
