Two people were killed and seven others injured—one of them critically—in a collision between two vehicles (a bus and a truck) on the Desert Highway on Wednesday morning.
The External Patrols Department said it is dealing with a collision that occurred before the Jurf Al-Darawish fuel station heading south, noting that the incident resulted in two fatalities and seven injuries, one of which was described as critical. The injured were transported to the hospital, and the deceased were evacuated from the scene.
The department added that the accident caused an obstruction in the right lane, urging drivers to exercise caution while using the road and to follow the instructions of patrol officers at the scene.
