AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh said Wednesday that the cheap and open targeting that Jordan and its Hashemite leadership are subjected to from time to time, through leaks and fabrications, are “miserable and desperate attempts that have no aim but to undermine Jordan and harm its achievements and leadership.”اضافة اعلان

While presiding virtually over a Cabinet session, Khasawneh stressed that the Hashemite leadership has always exerted “the most precious” efforts for the sake of the homeland and the causes of its nation, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

“The honorable history and present of our country, and the prosperous future cannot be touched by lies, fabrications, and poisoned arrows,” Khasawneh said.

“It is not appropriate for us to address those who hide behind fabrications, leaks, and suspicious purposes. Rather, our speech is a discourse of truth in the face of lies and slander, and our methodology is the methodology of adhering to honorable values and positions, and standing firm behind His Majesty King Abdullah, and behind our values,” he added.

He stressed that the sources of these leaks, fabrications, and the systematic and organized targeting of our country and its leadership “is a moral and political bankruptcy that has reached the lowest point of decadence.”

The prime minister stressed that what troubles the minds of those behind these fabrications and lies are the honorable stances of Jordan and His Majesty vis-à-vis national issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause.

He praised the role of the Arab media in a number of countries that responded to this attack and exposed the targeting of Jordan, and questioned the reasons for the systematic targeting that is trying to undermine Jordan, its leadership and positions.
