AMMAN — Recent small earthquakes at the Dead Sea measuring between two and three degrees on the Richter scale are "not worrying", according to Geophysics Professor at the University of Jordan Najib Abu Karaki.اضافة اعلان

Despite their intensity and frequency, with dozens of tremors occurring every hour, the professor, who specializes in studying earthquakes, assured that citizens “should not be at all concerned” about this seismic activity, Addustour Daily reported.

Map of the tremorsAbu Karaki published a map of the tremors in the active area showing that in the space of a few hours, a single quake occurred measuring less than three degrees on the Richter scale.
