Senate president meets with Palestinian parliament speaker

AMMAN  — Senate President Faisal Al-Fayez met on Tuesday with Speaker of the Palestinian National Council Rawhi Fattouh, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

At the meeting, Fayez said that any proposals to settle the Palestinian issue that are not based on the two-state solution and international resolutions are futile and unacceptable.

For his part, Fattouh said that the Palestinian leadership appreciates Jordan’s support of the Palestinians and His Majesty King Abdullah’s reiteration that any settlement should fulfill their legitimate, historical, and legal rights.
