AMMAN — Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi said Saturday that 1,479 Jordanians left Ukraine for neighboring countries since the start of the war, according to Al Mamlaka-TV.اضافة اعلان

According to the minister, 70 Jordanians and their families have not left and informed the ministry of their desire to stay in Ukraine, where their conditions are constantly followed up on.

He added that under directives from His Majesty King Abdullah, three flights were sent to evacuate Jordanians who wished to leave Ukraine.

Safadi stressed that Jordan’s firm position is respect for international law and the UN Charter.

He said that Jordan’s foreign policy aims to serve Jordan’s national interest through a network of strategic relations with different countries of the world.
