Ahmad Al-Nuaimat, Director of the Media Response Unit at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, stated on Sunday that shelters are a fundamental part of Jordan’s national risk management strategy.اضافة اعلان

He explained that these shelters consist of a combination of facilities affiliated with the Ministries of Social Development, Youth, and Awqaf, in addition to pre-established emergency camps such as the Azraq Camp, which was set up to host individuals affected by natural disasters like earthquakes or floods—God forbid.

Al-Nuaimat noted that these shelters are pre-designated across the Kingdom and are also used in emergency cases, such as when tourists are stranded or citizens are cut off due to exceptional circumstances.

Regarding the current situation, he stressed that sheltering at home and adhering to official warnings and instructions is sufficient for now to avoid any risks.
