Members of the second batch of Jordan’s National Service Program (Khidmat Al-‘Alam) began reporting on Saturday to the National Service Training Center at the Shweir camps, in accordance with the timetable approved by the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army for receiving recruits and completing their enrollment procedures smoothly and efficiently.
The Director of the Mobilization and Popular Army Directorate at the Jordan Armed Forces stated that reception procedures were carried out according to carefully prepared organizational, administrative, and logistical arrangements. These included verification of official documents, medical examinations, and completion of enrollment requirements to ensure the process proceeds with maximum efficiency and a high level of organization.
He added that the Jordan Armed Forces had allocated all necessary human and technical resources to receive the recruits and provide an appropriate training environment that would enable them to benefit fully from the program and achieve its intended national objectives.
The National Service Program includes specialized military and vocational training phases aimed at equipping participants with essential knowledge and practical experience. It also focuses on enhancing physical fitness and readiness, while developing military and professional skills that contribute to preparing a generation capable of serving the nation and actively participating in its development and progress.
The program is being implemented in line with national directives and visions aimed at investing in the potential of Jordanian youth, strengthening the values of belonging and loyalty, and preparing qualified national cadres capable of meeting present needs and future challenges.
