The Companies Controller has referred violations committed by the company "Forum for Training and Empowerment of Women and Children" to the Public Prosecutor due to its failure to submit its 2024 financial statements and to disclose its true beneficial owner.
Additionally, the Dissolution Committee at the Ministry of Social Development has referred three associations to the Public Prosecutor:
Green Crescent Association
Al-Urwah Al-Wuthqa Association
Sawaaed Al-Ataa Initiative
These were referred for administrative violations and illegal fundraising activities.
Following legal monitoring, the administrative board of “Zuhur Al-Barari Association” decided to dissolve itself, while the Ministry of Social Development is currently tracking the activities of a businessmen’s association led by members of the banned group, reportedly headed by a former MP.
The ministry also identified five individuals collecting donations illegally in a neighborhood in Amman, with legal measures pending against them.
In another legal follow-up, one individual who had been receiving monthly payments from the banned group was found to have submitted a request to Greater Amman Municipality for a business license to offer satellite TV subscription services over the internet.
Authorities are continuing to investigate and take legal action regarding the assets of the banned group, including bank accounts, funds, and real estate.
