Qatari envoy highlights economic contributions to Jordan in committee meeting

AMMAN — The Jordanian-Qatari Brotherhood Committee, led by Senator Khawla Al-Armouti, convened on Monday, engaging in discussions with Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, the Qatari Ambassador to the Kingdom. During the meeting, the Qatari ambassador highlighted the significant economic contributions made by Qatar to Jordan, according to a local media outlet. Last year alone, Qatari investments in Jordan exceeded $2 billion, benefiting from the favorable investment climate in the country. Furthermore, the Qatari grant created around 16,000 job opportunities for Jordanians out of the total 20,000 positions offered by Qatar across various sectors. Members of the Senate in attendance lauded the remarkable level of brotherly relations between Jordan and Qatar in all domains, with special emphasis on military cooperation, education, and training.
