Petra welcomed over 900,000 visitors in 2022

AMMAN — The Chairman of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority Suleiman Farajat said that the number of visitors to Petra since the beginning of 2022 reached 901,555 as of Frida, Ammon News reported.اضافة اعلان

Farajat added that 2022 had faced difficulties as the year began with the corona virus and ended with floods.

He also pointed out that Petra has not recorded any death since the 1960s, denying what some foreign media outlets have reported.
