One out of five youth smoke hookah — KHCF

AMMAN — Information published by the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center revealed that 42 percent of Jordan’s population smokes, as Jordan is a country with one of the highest levels of smoking in the world, with one out of every five youth smoking hookah, and in more details one out of six men and one out of 14 women smokes hookah, and ages varying from 13 to 15 years old smoke cigarettes, according to Khaberni.اضافة اعلان

Head of the thoracic department at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center Naser Mahmoud confirmed that eight out of 10 cases of lung cancer are directly related to smoking.
