AMMAN —
Ministry of Education spokesman, Ahmed Al-Masafah,
said the number of violations registered by the Ministry during the
General Secondary, Tawjihi, exams amounted to 698. Of these violations 564 were related
to students taking their cellular phones and computer chips to the exams'
halls.

He added in a statement, Tuesday, after the conclusion of
the current session of the
high school exam, that, "an innovative method
used by violators was the use of electronic chips instead of phones. These are
connected to
headphones and are often used for cheating", Al-Mamlaka TV
reported.
Penalties for students caught cheating include depriving
them from sitting the exams for one and possibly two sessions.
