Minister of Labor Dr. Khaled Al-Bakkaar has directed a review of the procedures followed by both the Domestic Workers Directorate and the Non-Jordanian Workers Directorate, with the aim of simplifying and improving the quality of services provided to the public.

According to a statement by the Ministry’s spokesperson, Mohammad Al-Ziyoud, on Monday, the Minister visited each directorate and, after listening to presentations by the directors and receiving feedback from employees and visitors on workflow mechanisms, formed a committee in each directorate to study all procedures related to processing transactions.
The spokesperson explained that the committee related to the Domestic Workers Directorate will coordinate with the Association of Owners of Recruitment Agencies for Non-Jordanian Domestic Workers, reflecting the Ministry’s belief in partnership with the private sector, employers’ associations, and labor unions.
He added that the purpose of forming the two committees is to simplify and improve the quality of services provided to the public and to expedite the processing of their transactions, saving them time and effort. Each committee is to submit a report of its findings to the Minister within two weeks of being tasked.
