King explores expanding tourism cooperation between Jordan and China
His Majesty King Abdullah II discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation with China in the tourism sector during a meeting on Wednesday with Trip.com Group, a leading travel and tourism company.
During a visit to the group's headquarters in Shanghai, His Majesty received a briefing from Executive Vice President Bo Sun and Senior Vice President Amanda Wang regarding Trip.com's operations, its destination marketing programs, and its initiatives to integrate cultural heritage into tourism events.

His Majesty emphasized the importance of increasing the number of Chinese tourists visiting Jordan, showcasing the country's diverse natural and archaeological sites, and enriching their cultural experience during these visits.
The meeting covered avenues for joint collaboration to enhance smart destination marketing, as well as the vital role of air connectivity between Jordan and China.
His Majesty was accompanied during the visit by Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah, and Jordanian Ambassador to China Hussam Al-Husseini.
