AMMAN —
Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yousef Al-Shamali stressed the importance of exerting all efforts to
strengthen economic cooperation between Jordan and Saudi Arabia in different
fields to maximize access to opportunities, during a visit to Saudi Arabia on
Monday, according to Ad-Dustour News.

Shamali made reference to His Majesty
King Abdullah II and the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s support to
bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
He voiced hope that investment potentials would
translate into realistic projects implemented through new business partnerships
and expanded areas of joint cooperation that will have positive impact on
sustainable development.
The Jordan Chamber of Industry and the Federation of Saudi
Chambers have signed a memorandum of cooperation, as well as a memorandum
between the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and the Amman Chamber of Industry, aimed
at strengthening trade and investment relations and exchanging information on
promising opportunities in the two countries.
