Jordan records 7 deaths, 400 new cases Thursday

The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Thursday reached 7, while a total of 400 new cases were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 9,929 and the caseload to 763,106. اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Thursday’s tally, the ministry stated that Amman recorded 235 cases, while Zarqa recorded 49 cases.

Irbid registered 28 cases, while Karak recorded 5 cases.

Balqa recorded 17 cases, while Aqaba recoded 1 and Mafraq recorded 10 cases.

Ajloun registered 18 cases, Tafileh 19, and Jerash 12.

Madaba registered 4 new cases, while Ramtha recorded 0 cases on Thursday.

Maan recorded 2 cases and Petra recorded 0.

The ministry added in a statement that some 49 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 71 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 7,626, according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 2.36 percent of the 16,955 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
