Jordan records 6 COVID deaths on Monday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 1,061 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, in addition to 6 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,477 and the caseload to 802,349. اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 414 cases, while Zarqa recorded 145 cases.

Irbid registered 123 cases, while Balqa recorded 43 cases.

Karak recorded 26, Jerash recorded 53 cases, and Tafileh recorded 67.

Madaba registered 14 cases, Aqaba 58, and Ajloun 24.

Mafraq registered 39 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 88 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 80 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 11,899 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.56 percent of the 29,802 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
