Jordan positivity rate spikes to 8.21%

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 3,317 new COVID-19 cases and 12 new deaths on Wednesday, bringing the total death toll to 11,291 and the total number of cases to 901,999.اضافة اعلان

The ministry said in a statement that 81 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 118 new patients were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 33,506 according to the ministry. Out of 40,406 COVID-19 tests conducted Wednesday, 8.21 percent of them came back positive.
